We’re delighted to announce the opening of our newest flagship store in New Bond Street, Mayfair, scheduled for August 2024. This exciting addition represents a significant milestone for Cheaney as we further expand our retail presence in London.

Retail has been a central part of our growth strategy and this latest store opening continues the journey.

Our goal is to bring the theatre of the factory into store, allowing customers to discover our handcrafted footwear in a contemporary space that complements the rich heritage of the business -William Church, Joint MD

Joining many of the world’s most famous brands in this eponymous location, the store will proudly display footwear that is purely made in England, reflecting a commitment to authenticity and excellence.

The store’s ambiance will be enhanced by sophisticated design elements drawing on the flood of natural daylight from the fully glazed elevations. Strategically placed mirrors create a sense of space, and luxurious walnut fixtures frame products with aesthetic elegance

A gallery-like display will perfectly capture the intricate details of the meticulously crafted footwear available. Emphasising that Cheaney makes what it sells, the store carries references back to the origins of the factory with pattern cutting features and toe punch motifs on the window

A ‘polishing station’ sits centre stage, adding a level of intrigue and theatre. Passers-by and visitors to the store can watch, while shoes are exquisitely ‘finger’ polished to achieve a mirror-like shine, a complimentary service, emphasising the importance of shoe-care. The new store is a space where heritage meets modernity, inviting customers to immerse themselves in the meaningful history that defines Cheaney.
