Featuring an elongated almond toe and a sleek silhouette, this is English style and tradition at its best. The 125 is one of Cheaney’s most revered and celebrated lasts, playing host to a myriad of styles from Oxford Brogues, Capped Derbys to Monk shoes.

Developed in 2016 for Cheaney’s 130 year Anniversary, this last was designed to fulfil the need for a classic last with Victorian reference. A wonderful shape, curved around the foot with a medium almond, rounded toe. Fits true to size; holding the back of the heel well, with a generous toe depth and offers more width across the vamp.

Having studied the imagery and archives from both the Shoe and Boot Museum and online references, we strived to reproduce an authentic last referencing the pilots attire from WWll. The 142 initially took shape as the foundation of our Aviator collection but has since been expanded to encompass newer releases. With an industrial feel, bulbous toe shape and high pitch angle, the 142 is renowned for its superior comfort.

Last 146 was developed to build upon last 214 but with a slightly rounder, almond toe, clipped in heel and elongated body. As there are no laces to secure the fit on loafer styles, the shape must be fitted and true to size and these are the given properties with all Cheaney loafers.

An old traditional favourite that has stood the test of time, the 175 is one of Cheaney’s longest running lasts. Iconic Cheaney with moderately narrowed toes softened through the box, this last stands out as a smart country look. Slightly generous in depth and width and shorter in the toe, this is the perfect option to sit between country and classic.

Last 200 features a classic, rounded toe, generally reserved for the construction of our penny loafers. Offering a smart casual aesthetic and a slightly more generous than average fit, loafers on the 200 last are a staple for anywhere footwear collection.

Developed in 2010, the 205 last boasts a slim, sleek profile, perfect for formal occasions and professional wear. A contemporary shape with a more exaggerated, chiselled toe, this last is closer fitting to the foot for a comfortable, supporting fit. Slightly deeper over the instep and through the vamp area, with generous spacing in the toe box, the 205 offers an elegant, minimalistic shape.

Developed in 2010 to sit alongside the 208 last of the Imperial collection, the 207 is only used to produce loafers with a more chiselled, elongated profile. Closer fitting to the foot, slightly deeper over the instep but with a slimmer, sleek silhouette, the 207 is refined elegance at its finest.

Developed as part of the Imperial range and extended to include our newer collections, this last offers a narrower, more bespoke feel. Crafted beautifully under the arch and slimmed through the waist with a swan’s neck sculpturing over the instep, this is a last for the most refined of gentlemen. The 208 has a sleek, fitted feel but isn’t restrictive and features a slightly pointed toe for added elegance.

Developed in 2013, last 214 forms the majority of Cheaney loafers due to the excellent proportional elements of fit and style. As there are no laces to secure the fit on loafer styles, the shape must be fitted and true to size and these are the given properties with all Cheaney loafers.

Produced in 2011 and based on the fitting properties and timeless appearance of the classic 125 last, the 225 features a modernised chiselled toe and contemporary angular fit. The capsule range of boots and shoes on the 225 last boast an elongated shape and streamlined silhouette, fitting true to size and accommodating those with a slightly higher instep.

At over 75 years old, the 4436 is Cheaney's longest running last, with great heritage and history behind it. A generous fit with a distinctive, vintage look and Veldt stitching, the 4436 last is perfect for our robust Veldtshoen collection. The Veldtshoen collection is also available in a G fitting, allowing for the bellows tongue and a slightly heavier sock and is, generally speaking, shorter in the toe box area.

Slightly more American in its influence, this is the mainstay of the Cheaney loafer collection having been developed over 20 years ago. Deeper than the average English loafer last and a good option for the slightly wider foot due to its more generous fit, the 5203 is a supremely versatile yet classic loafer last.

Our oldest classic last shape and for good reason. Featuring an almond toe with slightly more width through the vamp and instep area, the 6184 is English style and tradition at its best. Fitting properties are true to size, shaping smoothly around the foot, this silhouette is the backbone of our Classic Collection.

Developed in 2005, the 10298 features a soft, chiselled toe with slightly wider fitting properties in the toe box. With a sleek profile and contemporary silhouette, 10298 plays host to two of Cheaney’s most popular products, namely our Redmond and Raleigh styles.

Originally developed over 15 years ago, this last is kept exclusive to the City collection due to its timeless appearance. Prolonged in shape, close in fit and featuring a contemporary almond toe, the 11028 is a classic option for the discerning gentleman.

Created as the backbone of the country collection, the 12508 has become a Cheaney classic since its introduction in 2009. This last has a real presence on the foot with either Dainite, Commando or double Leather sole options and a generous, rounded toe. Acting as the foundation for a variety of styles from Derby boots to Monkey shoes, the 12508 is wonderfully versatile update on the classic 4436.

The 15216 has been developed specifically for the Imperial collection. Taking reference from the finest shoe makers around the world its elongated chiselled toe offers a very chic, elegant appearance. It fits a little tighter under the arch yet still offers the usual F (Average) fitting across the vamp.
