Quality footware

This is my fourth pair of Cheaney shoes. Fantastic quality. The range of fit that is offered allows you to buy a very comfortable shoe, without any compromises. The leather, sole and the stitching are of such quality that my oldest pair of Cheaney's ( Derby Brogue - Avon C sole) are ready for re-sole after 5 years and I am sure the investment will look like new.

Comfort out of the box!

These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever bought, normally i would not buy shoes this way, but with these shoes I’ve been proved wrong! I had supposed that it would be a case of the colour, size, material, and the time that would have entailed, but couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised, new customer in the making.

Danite soles.

Excellent, robust, comfortable and the danite sole is the icing in the cake. Perhaps Cheaney might consider including a tin of polish when a customer purchases a pair if shoes in a new colour?

Superb shoes

As someone who appreciates well made, quality clothes and shoes, I recently purchased two pairs of Cheaney shoes from Toast. I hadn't intended to buy shoes, but as soon as I put them on I could tell they were for me. They instantly feel like old favourites. I look forward to many years/miles of good times together!

Derby Brogue

The term 'Derby', refers to any style of footwear with a 'open' lacing system, where the facings are stitched on top of the vamp meaning they can be opened outwards, as such, are suitable for a wide foot or a foot with a high in-step.

The word 'brogue' refers to the punched detailing, which at one point was used to let water out of country shoes; these days, they are purely decorative and add a more casual edge.
