Returns & Exchanges

From 1st October 2023 we have extended our returns policy until 31st January 2024. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, or if you simply change your mind, you can return the item(s) to us for an exchange or refund. Shop Now for Christmas

The item(s) must be unworn and undamaged and returned in the original packaging. We recommend you try on the shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid any damage to the soles.

UK RETURNS

We offer two return methods so you can choose which option is easier for you:

DPD

(Printer required)

You can create a free returns label using DPD's online returns portal

Instructions:

  • Create your returns label using the 'Return my items' button above
  • Your returns label will be emailed as a pdf file
  • Print and apply the label to your item ensuring you do not place any tape over the barcode so it can be easily scanned.
  • Drop off your item at a DPD Pick up Shop and then you’ll receive proof of posting

In order to provide an easy and efficient returns service we are providing you with a link to DPD's Returns Portal. If your returned items are lost or damaged whilst being returned to us, please do not contact DPD as your contract of return is with us and not DPD.

Royal Mail

(No printer required)

You can create a free returns label using Royal Mail's online returns portal

Instructions:

  • Create your returns label using the 'Return my items' button above
  • Your returns label will be emailed as a pdf file
  • Print and apply the label to your item ensuring you do not place any tape over the barcode so it can be easily scanned.
  • Drop off your item at a Post Office branch or Royal Mail Customer Service Point and then you’ll receive proof of posting

Or use Royal Mail's free label printing service

  • Create your returns label using the 'Return my items' button above
  • You will be emailed a QR code
  • Simply show the QR code in the email on your mobile phone at a Post Office branch or Royal Mail Customer Service Point and the label will be printed and attached to the parcel

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

You can create a returns label using the Global-e online returns portal, the cost of the returns label will be deducted from your refund.

Please note if you opted to pay duty & taxes upfront these are not refunded and you have to claim these back from your countries relevant body.

For all international returns the parcel must be clearly marked with: 'RETURNING UNSUITABLE GOODS TO SENDER'

Failure to do so may result in import duties for which we may hold you liable. The item must be unworn and undamaged and returned in the original packaging. We recommend you try on the shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid any damage to the soles.

REFUNDS

We aim to process all refunds within 14 working days of receiving the item. Please be aware at busy periods this may take slightly longer.

We will send you an email confirming that the refund has been processed.

Refunds may take up to 10 working days to appear in your account. This time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuer and is outside of our control.

EXCHANGES

UK EXCHANGES

Please use one of the free return options above

Simply fill in the exchange section on the returns form and enclose this with your parcel. 

CONFIRMATION OF EXCHANGE REQUEST

You will receive an email confirming that we have received your return and are processing your exchange; you will receive a further email when the exchange has been dispatched. Our standard delivery times apply for exchanges

Please note exchanges can only be for the same value. If the item is more or less expensive we would have to refund and you would need to place a new order online

INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGES

Please return the original order to us for a refund and place a new order online 

CANCELLATIONS

The United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel your order within 14 days and receive a full refund including the original postage charges.

 Cancellations must be made in writing and can be emailed to: customerservices@cheaney.co.uk

For orders that are 'Awaiting Dispatch' it may be possible to cancel your order before it is dispatched. Please contact us at customerservices@cheaney.co.uk soon as possible after placing the order.

FAULTY / INCORRECT ITEMS

In the rare event that your product is faulty or we have made a mistake and sent you the wrong order please contact us by email customerservices@cheaney.co.uk quoting your order number and our online team will respond as soon as possible.
