I have owned a pair of Pennine Veldtschoens for over 10 years. They are an excellent boot, support the ankle, and are waterproof. After a hike, they clean up very nicely. In my view a very handsome and classical piece of footwear.

The best pair of boots I have ever worn. Extremely comfortable even on first wearing. Everything about them is 100%. They look great!

Fast delivery via a quality courier company. The boots are obviously made to a high standard and fit well.Just need an extended period of wet weather so I can really test them out.

These boots are beautifully made and very comfortable. The leather is soft. The soles are not heavy despite their thickness and their strength. The bellows tongue provides an extra defence against water ingress. The style is understated -- part-hidden by trousers, these boots could easily be mistaken for shoes. They are available in the broader G fitting, too. Cheaney and Sons were very helpful in exchanging a previous pair of a different style which I found too tight. Excellent service and an excellent product which is well worth the money.
