Perfect Trainers!

These are perfect trainers. I bought them for their look and in hopes that they would be supportive. I’ve been recovering from a knee injury and have found these shoes far better than gym shoes. They are so supportive, and at the same time you can find the ground while wearing them. I’ve actually bought a second pair!

Didn't quite match my expectations

Mine have just arrived. They are my sixth pair of Cheaney shoes/boots, after my Wilfred D, Brackley, Fenchurch, Arthur 3, and Jackie 3.

I was in the market for a nice clean pair of minimalist white trainers and had narrowed it down to two: Crown Northampton or these Cheaney x Goral.

I chose the Cheaney pair for aesthetic reasons. I just preferred the design of them. However, upon unboxing them I was left a little disappointed. There were several black smudge marks on the leather. I was able to wipe them off, but still, a bit annoying. Also, under the derby upper some of the brown underneath is coming out. Finally, the overall feel of the leather is a little bit cheap. On the plus side, the trainers are comfortable so far.

Offering an extremely lightweight and flexible design due to its original use as a sports shoe, the trainer market today goes beyond gym wear and into its own section of fashion. A trainer made using natural leathers and suedes goes one step further to increase longevity and breathability, resulting in an even more comfortable experience.
