Beautiful Craftsmanship

Perfect fit! The last description stated that if one has a narrow foot to down size one size. I only down sized a half size. The last shape, materials and craftsmanship are all FIVE Stars. My second pair and will not be the last. Great customer service too.

Great shoes, poor service

Fantastic shoes - comfortable, well constructed, look sharp. Only downside of my order was that, despite my immediate request, Cheaney customer service would not let me edit my order to add the Burgundy shoe polish to my order which I forgot

Should have done this years ago

I have used a number of UK manufacturers over the years, but am very impressed with my latest purchase. Very comfortable, lovely colour and very serviceable. Other manufacturers do not supply the correct colour polish, but Cheaney does - looking forward to many years use. Well done.

Oxford

The term 'Oxford' refers to any style of footwear with a 'closed' lacing system, where the facings are stitched flush with the rest of the shoe. Popularised at Oxford University in the 1800s, they represent the most formal end of footwear styles and encompass many variations including toecaps, brogues and boots. They offer a sleek and streamlined appearance and fit snugly across the instep.

Calf Leather

Calf leather forms the foundation of a large majority of our styles due to its classic appeal, hardwearing nature and adaptability. Our signature leathers are sourced from tanneries within Europe. Burnishing refers to slightly darker shades being applied to the shoe, specifically around the toes and heels - meticulously done by hand in our factory, burnishing gives each shoe personality and shows off the leather beautifully.
