After nearly a decade, these shoes continue to serve me well. They endure unrelenting abuse during the winter months in Minnesota (which can be half the year) and seem to be indestructible. Moreover, even when they're looking their worst, caked in salt and gunk, I still get compliments on them. Oh, and they're sublimely comfortable. Clearly, I am very, very smart for having discovered the Avons.
this is my fifth pair of cheaneys all great shoes craftsmanship second to none .Avon c brouges are superb a great buy which no doubt will give me years of service.
I have had a pair of Cheaney shoes of the same style for over 18 years. They are are now very faithful friends. Beautifully crafted and fitted so comfortably on first wearing. Looking forward to the next 20 years of comfort . Highly recommend them.
Everything I expected them to be! Beautifully made, fit like a glove and look great, too. I wore them all day when they first arrived and they're incredibly comfortable and don't make them sweat.

I decided to treat myself to a traditional pair of gentlemen's brogues that make me feel someone special. These tick all the boxes; hand crafted, look 'classy' very comfortable, ooze quality and I can get refurbished as they wear to retain that patina of age that will develop but can't buy new.

Great shoes, my third pair! I wear them most days - they are smart, tough and practical.
Wonderful shoes, classy, comfotable and strong. I was unable to find anywhere that sold them or knew the brand in Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester or Glasgow. I had to buy on line which is not ideal and is dependant on the purchaser knowing their exact size. Is there not a gap in the market here for Cheaney?
Ordered the Avon C Brogue with commando soles and they are very comfortable and great looking shoes. They feel like they will last for ever, great buy!
