Another perfect pair of boots

Last winter I bought the Godwin Chelsea boot which fit like a glove and have been comfortable from day 1. These are about as different in style as you can get but are similarly superb. I went up 1/2 a size and the fit is perfect. They're not overly warm, which I was worried they might be. The only problem is I might have to get them in black as well as I want to wear them every day ...

Super boots

My second pair of Cheaney boots on the same 142 last which just seems to fit my wide food so well, same size across my Hurricane 2s and the Tiger moths which are true to size in my experience. The Whiskey Kudu leather is soft, supple, and beautiful with natural blemishes and a deep red/brown hue. The Whiskey colour seems to range from a lighter red to a dark mahogany. I got lucky on the pair I ordered online, they are somewhere in the middle of the spectrum and the vamps match the toe which is something I noticed is not always the case. The shearling lining is so comfy, and gives a lovely warmth, the boots look big and heavy, but on the foot they feel like a big pair of fur-lined slippers, Mine came with the new Danite Commando sole which feels a bit softer, and more supple compared with the Tineshide original commando sole. A very happy customer, serious cash, the most I have ever spent on a pair of shoes, but I honestly think I will be wearing these for decades, I have hardly taken them off since getting them as its been so cold. I have been walking around in snow and ice, wet horrible weather these keep my feed and ankles warm and dry, smart enough for work with chinos, casual enough with jeans too. Love the speed hooks, love the shearling, cannot say a bad word about them thus far, 1 month in. Highly recommend.

Great boots and service at Edinburgh branch

My fourth pair of boots and my wife and I’s second annual visit to Edinburgh. Ryan was excellent sorry to miss Lou but everyone needs the odd day off!
My boots are amazing I wore them home from the shop as it was freezing, and I’m so happy to have the fur lining so cosy. I’ve had my eyes on these boots all year and I’m very happy with my choice. I went for a 1/2 size bigger (10.5) and I feel like I’m walking on clouds! Thanks to all at Cheaney.

Stunning boots!

These boots are my 2nd pair of Cheaney's, so on that basis, as my feet are quite wide, and I like to wear thick socks, I went for a men's size 7, to get that extra width, this time. Extremely impressed with the boots, and as another reviewer said, they're like having a pair of slippers on! One very happy customer.

Missed the original Tiger Moth boots, had to have these

These weren't my first pair of Cheaney boots so I had a good idea of what I was ordering, but still when the box arrived I was blown away.
They are simply stunning in the flesh, the colour,
softness and texture of the leather is truly unique.

I've worn them every day since they arrived and they are as comfortable as a pair of slippers already, requiring absolutely no break in period whatsoever.

Shearling lining makes them slightly snug initially, but after a week now fit perfectly

Kudu Leather

Kudu is a species of antelope native to the African Savannah. As it is a wild animal, kudu leather is naturally imperfect and has scars and scuffs as a result of life in a wild environment. Incredibly soft to the touch yet just as strong as other leathers, kudu is a fairly low-maintenance leather and creates less wastage than other leathers due to the inclusion of imperfections.
