Theo Monk Strap Loafer in Emerald Green Calf Suede
- £375
Theo is a Monk strap loafer crafted from luxurious Calf Suede, known for its exceptional softness. The buckle is purely decorative, and the loafer is partially lined for comfort with no shank, heel, or toe stiffeners. Its flexible cemented leather sole allows it to nearly collapse, offering a weightless feel while still providing durability and support.

Due to their lace-less design and slip-on style, loafers are considered to be a simple but incredibly modern style of footwear. With American origins and links to early moccasin styles, loafers are traditionally finished in either leather or suede and have been developed over the years to include lined and unlined versions. Offering sartorial versatility that equally befits business or casual wear, loafers are a practical yet impeccably stylish shoe.
Last 146 was developed to build upon last 214 but with a slightly rounder, almond toe, clipped in heel and elongated body. As there are no laces to secure the fit on loafer styles, the shape must be fitted and true to size and these are the given properties with all Cheaney loafers

Suede is the underside of the leather hide and has a soft, textured surface referred to as the 'nap'. Supremely comfortable and adaptable around the foot, suede is seen as slightly more casual and offers a relaxed approach to classic styles. Often mistaken as a fragile material, a good quality full-grain suede is just as hardwearing as calf leather and is easy to maintain across every season.
