Cheaney Ingleborough B Hiker Boot in Chicago Tan Chromexcel Leather

I'm amazed with everything about these boots. The website photos don't do them justice, they look and feel amazing in real life. I couldn't be happier. They fit perfectly, just as expected and with plenty of room to wear one or two pairs of thick socks. These needed very little breaking in (if at all). The soles are really rugged and you can tell they'll last. The leather is my favourite thing about these boots though. The colour is a deep, rich, dark chocolate type of colour with depth and character and the leather is soft and supple yet strong at the same time. These boots provide ample ankle support which is a must for me because I go serious hiking. I expect these boots will last me a lifetime. I would definitely recommend them!

These are great boots and very comfortable. I’ve had them for a couple of years now and wear them 2 or 3 times a week. The only issue is the laces keep cutting through on the metal hooks. I am on my fifth set of laces and they are now out of stock so I suspect I’m not the only one! The other issue is the suede cushion at the top of the ankle has worn away which seems a bit poor for a £350 pair of boots after a couple of years. I will send them for refurbishment and hopefully this can be patched up.
