Simply beautiful shoes.

I cannot praise these shoes highly enough. I first bought the Arthur III in black and they were superb. I decided to buy the dark leaf also and I was not disappointed. The burnishing of the leather is beautifully done. Like the black Arthur III's they are extremely comfortable. Cheaney are by far my favourite shoemaker. Dave Sheppard.

Stunning shoes

I ordered these online without trying on or seeing in real life
When they arrived I was relieved to find they are true to size and I was safe with my usual size 11
I was amazed at the quality and craftsmanship (and smell!) When I opened the box.
I wear these fairly regularly with suit and smart attire, and they are still as new-better really, I always put cedar shoe trees in them which really helps. I think they look better every time I wear them
I'd buy these again tomorrow, but I'm confident that they will last me a lifetime so wont have to

Great Shoes

A really great pair of shoes. I wore them for the first time yesterday evening and the fit is very good from the off. The Dark Leaf colour is very attractive. I will very much enjoy wearing this pair of shoes and am delighted with my purchase.

Stunning comfort

without doubt the finest shoes I've ever had the pleasure of wearing.
I have collapsed arches in my feet and it's near enough impossible to find shoes that can offer such outstanding comfort.
They are the first Cheaney shoes I've bought and the most I've ever paid, but worth every penny!!

Cheers

Arthur III Brogue in Dark Leaf Calf Leather

Ordered on Wednesday and arrived on Friday, amazing service. I have been trying to pluck up the courage to spend this sum of money a pair of shoes for years and have not slept since placing the order. On opening the box it almost took my breath away, the shoes can only be described as spectacular, the craftsmanship and subtle colours are beautiful, the pictures don't do them justice. I can assure you that they will receive the same care and attention in my care as they obviously did in yours.

Arthur III

I was looking at these shoes for a couple of years before finally making the purchase. I wanted something in-between dark brown and Rosewood and the Dark Leaf looked just about right. I was expecting something pretty special but when I opened the box I was really taken aback. The Dark Leaf was just the shade I wanted but the contrasting ‘shadows’ which follow all the seams (which don’t show up in the photos) really look amazing. All this coupled with the fact that they fit like a glove make these a spectacular pair shoes.

Classic brogue, great fit and well made as expected. Worth the investment.

Oxford Brogue

The term 'Oxford' refers to any style of footwear with a 'closed' lacing system, where the facings are stitched flush with the rest of the shoe.

The word 'brogue' refers to the punched detailing, which at one point was used to let water out of country shoes; these days, they are purely decorative and add a more casual edge. A pair of oxford brogues can be dressed up or down and should be a staple style in anyone's wardrobe.
