We use kudu leather for our women's military-style boots. Kudu leather is the hide from a large antelope species native to the East and South African woodlands. Typically they graze amongst the thorny brush, and because humans hunt them in the wild, their hides often have scars and scratches, making each piece of leather unique. Their leather is strong but surprisingly supple, with a highly textured, pebbled, and glossy finish. Kudu leather ages beautifully with its distinctive creases forming with wear, and the natural scuffs and scrapes, give them a rugged, vintage appearance.
It is easy to care for our kudu military boots. We recommend wiping away any dirt with a clean cloth and storing them in a cotton shoe or boot bag. Use shoe trees to maintain their shape when you're not wearing them.
