A truly beautiful pair of boots. Fit is excellent, as is comfort, and I was very pleased that they didn't need breaking in, so no sore heels or blisters. The level of craftsmanship is superb also. Cheaney's have been my preferred choice of footwear for some years now, although I did recently try a similar boot from another English shoemaker (name is the same as that of a place of worship), so I can do a direct comparison - the Cheaney boot looks much nicer and more refined, but with the boot from your competitor, to this day, whenever I wear them I need to apply plasters to my feet to prevent rubbing. Needless to say it's unlikely I will ever wear them again now I have these beauties!

These arrived earlier this week and I must say, in addition to being gorgeous, the fit is dead on true to size. They are also incredibly comfortable straight out of the box - the toe and counter are fully formed and shaped, but the uppers and vamp are incredibly soft and comfortable as sold.Other than wearing boots for hiking, or desert boots for casual, this is the first pair that I have purchased that could be considered "business dress" boots, and I would feel comfortable wearing them with a suit, or at least a jacket and slacks.One thing that I have noticed, and really like, is that the uppers really cradle my foot and keep it in place. Cannot say enough about how much I love these boots.

They are brilliant really nice to wear, doesn’t require any breaking in, a perfect fitting boot for my every day use and a perfect companion to use with a suit...!!

This is my second pair of these brogue boots - I virtually lived in the last pair until I wore them out. I concur with what the other reviewers say. These are high quality boots that require little or no wearing it. Buy a pair and be the envy of your friends!

I received my new boots today Friday ordered them on Wednesday, great delivery service considering we on the lock down! These are my third pair of cheaney’s and my just as happy with them I as I knew I would be. What a great way pick up pick up my spirits and relive the boredom of these challenges time. I ordered the Dark Leaf Tweed boots in size 9UK and couldn't be happier! The quality was evident the first time I opened the box. The F fit is absolutely perfect. I sized down from the normal 9.5UK and am experiencing zero break in. Comfortable right from the first steps. The Dark Leaf is a gorgeous color that goes with almost anything. highly recommend the Tweed boots!

First pair of Cheaney I ever bought about 3 years ago and I fell in love with the brand there and then. I have the original Tweed in Dark leaf with leather sole and it is a beautifully crafted boot that, because of my use of Saphir cream polish in cognac and saphir wax polish in mahogany on top of the cream (please dont use cheap supermarket polish on fine footwear...the harsh artificial solvents will ruin your calf leather.) I have developed a fine burnished patina on the boots which looks stunning! (Cheaney brand polish is top notch too) I really love all my Cheaney footwear and the quality of their shoes really is superb for the price...they are up there with the more exclusive brands believe me. Highly recomended and well worth the outlay.

These boots are simply stunning, beautiful fit and excellent quality.

Bought a size 9.5 for my size 10 feet, felt a bit snug but have loosened up to be perfect after only a days wearing. Rubber sole is nice and flexible out of the box. The colour is beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. Very happy with my first pair of Cheaney shoes!

IT'S THE BEST BOOTS EVER , FANTASTIC HAND WORK , THX

While browsing some Church shoes, in a unhelpful shop of theirs, I then searched the 'Net and viewed these Cheaney boots, I have most of the other English makers but never Cheaney. What a revelation, I found this boot to be comfortable, well made and attractive, straight from the off they were lovely to wear and Would NOT recommend them, as I do not want everyone discovering how good these are.
