Available in a refined selection of colour options and constructed on the 125th Anniversary last, one of our longest standing Cheaney last shapes.

What is the origin of Spectator Shoes?

Although they were too striking for the taste of the British gentlemen, it was in the United States during the 1920s and 1930s that spectator shoes achieved their greatest popularity. Typically constructed from two contrasting colours and also referred to as the co-respondent shoe, this style had a great presence in the Jazz music scene, later influencing gangster movies and finally, leaping in to mainstream gentlemen's fashion around the globe.

Simply superb

These Edwin II Brogues are really beautiful shoes. Made extremely well and the quality shouts at you!
This is the seventh pair of Cheaney shoes/boots that I have purchased and all are beautiful and comfortable from the off.

Cool in summer

I really liked the look of these shoes. The canvas and leather is traditional for summer wear and does seem to be cooler to wear. The shoes are very well made and the leather is high quality, it polishes to a great shine. Thoroughly recommended. The photos show the leather to be quite dark but they are a bit lighter in colour in the flesh which suits me.
