Originally designed as a boot for horse-riding, the Chelsea boot really gained momentum through the Mod movement of the 60s and a band you may have heard of called 'The Beatles'. The Chelsea boot's sleek design has a unique silhouette and is an ideal travel boot due to its elasticated gussets and pull tabs.
The 12508 has become a Cheaney classic since its introduction in 2009. Acting as the foundation for a variety of styles the 12508 is wonderfully versatile update on the classic 4436. This last has a real presence on the foot with a generous, rounded toe.

The Brit Grip rubber sole has been designed to combine effective resistance to wear and great non-slip properties also as an added bonus the unique contemporary tread design is based off the Union Jack Flag. Also manufactured by Itshide an English producer of premium quality soles and heels, it takes on all the similar qualities of a Commando Sole, however is set apart with its distinctive tread pattern.
