Shoes Built to Last
When people think of shoe care, polishing first comes to mind. However, using shoe trees is very important in order to maintain a good pair
of leather shoes.

Wooden shoe trees should be inserted into the shoe following every wearing, as these will absorb perspiration and help to reduce the creasing of the upper. With regular use, shoe trees will make shoes look and feel better, reduce odour, and increase longevity.

Polishing

Polishing your shoes on a regular basis is important, and Cheaney has a full selection of high quality English wax polishes.

Shoes should always be allowed to dry naturally and then wiped clean before polishing, which is best applied with a soft cloth and rubbed off with a high quality bristle brush. This process also helps to retain
and replace the leather’s natural oils. We recommend that you use a Cheaney shoe horn, when fitting your shoes.
